Position Summary:

As a Collision Apprentice Technician, you’ll work with experienced, skilled technicians of all classes performing minor repairs with primary focus on learning and growing your skillsets in automotive repair to swiftly transition the role of a Body Shop Technician. We have a talented team of I-CAR certified body shop techs. You'll have a career path to match your growing skills and experience.

Pay: $18-$20 per hour

Responsibilities

Assist technicians performing repairs and preparation for refinish.
High Level of engagement in a learning environment
Ability to apply learnings to execute repairs independently performing body repair or replacement
High Level of engagement in a learning environment
Maintain work area appearance and safety
Focusing on growing into a body technician
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Vocational/technical school preferred a plus
Working knowledge of tools of the trade beneficial
Valid driver’s license required
Basic computer skills required
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
