Voyles of Birmingham is seeking an experienced and motivated Skilled Service Technician to join our Main Shop. This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in their craft, values efficiency and accuracy, and wants to continue growing in a high-volume, fast-paced dealership environment.
Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and HVAC
Perform warranty, recall, and customer-pay repairs efficiently and accurately
Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information systems
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management regarding repair status
Proven experience as an automotive service technician
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to flag hours efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented mindset
