Job Description:

As a Service BDC Supervisor, you will oversee our Business Development Center (BDC) team to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient appointment scheduling, and effective customer communications. You will play a critical role in managing and enhancing the customer experience within our service department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management:

    • Supervise, train, and support the BDC team members.
    • Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Ensure the team meets or exceeds established goals and objectives.
  • Customer Relations:

    • Oversee customer interactions to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
    • Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Scheduling and Coordination:

    • Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to schedule service appointments efficiently.
    • Manage the service appointment calendar to optimize workflow and minimize customer wait times.
  • Reporting and Analysis:

    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance.
    • Prepare and present reports on BDC activities and results to management.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to improve service processes and customer experiences.
    • Implement new strategies and technologies to enhance BDC efficiency.
  • Communication:

    • Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments, such as sales, parts, and service.
    • Ensure all customer interactions are recorded and updated in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a BDC or customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, scheduling software, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer issues effectively.
